It keeps us grounded when things inevitably start to feel muddy, and provides a foundation to continually refer back to as decisions are considered. In our strategy work, that “design concept” is found in the language of mission, vision, and values. Our starting point is unearthing and defining (or refining) your unique mission, vision, and values — which will serve as our north star for whatever work follows.
What you say, and how you say it, matters.
All of our work — whether it’s organizational design, strategic planning, or employee engagement — comes with a strong backbone in communications. An effective communications strategy can only come from a place of deep understanding of people, history, and cultures, which is why we see all of these systems as interconnected. We use our knack for understanding people — in the fullness of their humanity — to intuit how changes or information might be received. We let that understanding inform and influence processes and decisions.
We don’t do marketing without the substance, and we don’t create the substance without considering marketing.

Our work is led by Audrey Alverson — strategist, communicator, and all around equity-focused human. She comes to the table with vulnerability, courage, humility, and a solid dose of boldness. Audrey genuinely believes that together we can make work better.
